Occupation:
Location:
Interests:
Husband (38) and Wife (33), married 9 years.

Weight Loss Goals:

Andy - 100 pounds total (30 during this 10 wk period)
Kiley - 90 pounds total (20 during this 10 wk period)
Combined Goal: 190 pounds

Reason for entering the contest:

We need to get healthy for a few reasons. We both have health concerns and have received the gentle recommendation from our doctor to lose weight and increase exercise. Second, we want to set a better example for our boys and we want to be there for them when they're adults too! Third, fat is not in style. We need to change our style. Fourth, we want to be sexy for each other!

How we plan to succeed:

We will be following the Weight Watchers Points system which we've used before. We know it works.

Why choose us to win?

We'll make you proud! We love the Biggest Loser show and it would be thrilling to see it LIVE! Plus Kiley loves Bob and would like to get a hug.

Not giving up yet - again, why we need a trainer

Kiley lost a measly .2 lbs and Andy was up 2.8.  We really need a trainer because we are having a hard time holding each other accountable and motivating each other to work out.  We are the reason we are like this (we enable each other) and it's difficult to break the cycle.  I see others doing soooo much better than us.  We need help!!!

Team Net Loss: 1.2 lbs

Ok, Andy lost 2.2 lbs.  Good for him!  And I gained that stubborn pound back.  I really need to kick it in.  I wish I had a trainer.

Down a pound each

Wow!  Sweet victory for Bernie and Brittney tonight.  What great numbers!  Good for them.  They are inspiring young people.  We pulled a pound a piece...  Not quite the victory but still chipping away at it.

Do-over

Can we have a do-over?  We just got back from six days in semi-sunny southern California for a family vacation to escape our foot and a half of Pacific NW snow.  When we vacation, we eat.  We're learning that when we relax, we eat (and sometimes drink).  When we want to celebrate, we eat.  When we are playing cards, we eat.  When we vacation we talk about where we'll be eating next...when we're not even through with the current meal!  Granted, we did eat better this vacation but we still packed on pounds.  Andy packed back on 3.6 and Kiley quickly gained 2.8.  This is usually the point in our many attempts at "dieting" where we just say, "bag it".  But this time we are not "bagging it".  We are learning from it.  Can we get a do-over?

You win some you lose some

Bummer... I (Kiley) gained 1.6 pounds... Andy still is a loser though with .6 lost.  Next week will be better--more exercise and more water!!!  More later!
